I’m happy that Joe Biden took his time choosing his VP because it was worth it. If he would have rushed to make the pick he would have missed the opportunity to pick a black woman with formative experience in law and the judicial system.

These two things will help them to articulate possible courses of action to move the country towards a unified direction. While Kamala’s record may work against her, she can overcome this by tapping into her own lessons learned, background, and the people she will one day lead.
