It doesn’t help that our president in the beginning of his term scooped one race and turned them all into rapists and murderers. You know ‘bad hombres’. Then decided to start a war on illegal immigration because they are the ones taking all the resources away from the citizens — according to him. However he will never admit to the piss poor management of funds that takes resources from the most vulnerable and gives it to the powerful and the immigrants don’t see a dime if anything they add to the coins of the rich man’s pockets.

Fun fact: I had someone argue with me that illegal immigrants took welfare away from people that needed. I said how can they without valid identification? An illegal immigrant doesn’t go ten feet from a government building.

The sad part is that people believe him and when they look at an immigrant actually anyone of a shade of brown — Because we all look illegal — they see one thing: a bad hombre (mujer). The level of hate towards someone of color has not disappeared since it began, but it was not getting worst. When he took over and decided to use his rhetoric to divide and conquer, he made it unsafe for those who are not white male and straight. Because he made it okay for people to be rude to another and worst, he made it okay for people not to care, for how can you care about a bad hombre?
