From someone who is not white. Hey there I’m our brown sister from another mister. I keep saying when I climb my soapbox that the best thing those with privilege can do is uplift those that don’t. To me is super simple. My grandma raised me to know that in the world there are others who would have it worst and what little have can be a ton to someone who doesnt even have that little at all.

Of course if one doesn’t acknowledge ones privilege then is safe to assume they won’t be able to identify the others. So for someone to discount your opinion as one that is not valid simply because you fall into a category of privileges has failed to see his own.

There are many steps to solving a problem the first one will always be identifying it.
